baik betul pakcik tu...
25 October 2007

I was on my way to the toilet when a pakcik came and approached me. He's working as a cleaner in the office. He asked me whether my colleague, Yani, is working or not today?

I told him yes. He went in to the storeroom and I went into the toilet to relieve myself. When I came out, he was there waiting for me holding with him a red plastic bag. Inside the plastic bag, is a packet of rice. He told me to pass it to Yani. Yani was a new staff. He said that yesterday he saw Yani eating curry puffs alone and he feel sad for her. Therefore, today he bought the packet rice for her.

Bestnyaa... I promised him to pass it to Yani. Maybe tomorrow I will try to eat alone and the following day, I will receive a free packet of rice. Haa..Haaa...

Today I will go to my sis June's place for Hari Raya visit. Will go there straight from work. But without my Baju Kurung. But I've reminded my maid to bring the nicest clothes for my kids and to change to that after I reached there. Hari Rayalah konon. My sis, she went to fetch my kids and my maid to her house this morning and after that she and my bro in law went to Johor.

OOOpsss..she did it again...

It's Marsya. She put on the songkok again when we go to our neighbour's house yesterday. She saw my neighbour's son, Haziq, wearing the songkok, that makes her wanted to put it on too. Rayyan follow suit.

We were already in Cik June's house. My family was the first one to reach there since we were just next door to them. Followed by the rest of my neighbours. Altogether, there were 5 families happily celebrating Hari Raya. All of us are staying on the same floor.

We start going to the first house at 8pm and end at 11.30pm. 30 more minutes near midnight. At one of my neighbour's house, while we were enjoying eating the Mee Siam, there's a man wearing a malay baju kurung knocking on the door. He's alone and looks like he's in his late 20s or early 30s. Guess what he wants? He wants to join us for Hari Raya!!!

We don't mind if its a lower primary school kids coming but this guy???? Definitely, my neighbour did not open the door. Who knows he might be a bad guy something like a drug addicts? But my neighbour talked to him nicely and asked him to go. Doesn't he feel ashamed at all?

Today, Aunt Rita invited us to her house. She said she's cooking something special today. OOOpppss...my tummy growling...Haven't taken breakfast yet. Should I make my stomach empty till I reached Aunt Rita's house? That will be around 3 plus!!!!

Marsya Pakai songkok
17 October 2007

We had a wonderful hari raya on Saturday. My daughter, too. We had to allow her to wear the songkok, if not she will make a lot of noise. Have you all seen her photo at Sis June's blog?

She took my dad's songkok and said she want to be like my nephew, Adam. Already explain to him that songkok is for boy and not girl. Well, she don't care on what I've said. But she look cute, though.

My aunties, uncles and everybody in my nenek kampong's house laugh at her. Many of them call her Tok Haji. On the way, to my nenek town's house at Bukit Panjang, she fell asleep. I wanted to take it out but hubby told me not to, as once she wakes up and find that the songkok is not there anymore, she will definitely create noise.

Rayyan looks so cute with the complete baju kurung and samping. It makes him look much shorter. The lenght of his samping is below his knee, almost the same length like his pants.

Now, he can speak some words such like, Finish, some more, give me...etc. My kids have all grown up...Any 3rd one coming????

Not at the moment. Hubby and I wanted our financial to be more stable only then we can plan for a 3rd one.

Besok Hari Raya
12 October 2007

Besok hari raya...besok hari raya....

Want to know something?

Today, I make my whole section unable to do their work as they could not access the internet.

Well, since the day I started work, no one ever tell me not to off the switch in the pantry cum relax corner room.

So, yesterday, before going to the meeting after work ended, I went to that room to clean up a bit and off all the switch.

There's a lot of wires there and I thought it belongs to the TV, DVD player, Radio only. I didn't know that one of the wires is connected to the internet server.

This morning, my supervisor called the IT Tech to rectify it. While on the line, I overheard their conversation. I heard my supervisor saying about the message prompt that the server unplug or something like that.

I remembered about yesterday. I went in and on all the switch back.

And everything came back to normal. When my supervisor came in, she checked all the wires. I told her that I on and off the switch back and adjust the wires which came loose.

Haa.Haaa.. Haaa...

Everybody continued with their work and the best thing is that until now nobody knows that I'm the culprit......PPsssssttttt....(No one in the office have my blog's address)

And luckily it affect my section only and not the whole office.

Resignation
09 October 2007

It's the last day for my colleague who is working in the call center. Its very sad to see him leave. He's a Malaysian and will be going back to his own country.

My supervisor bought him a cake. And this morning, my colleague, treat us to McDonald's breakfast. But since I'm fasting, I won't be able to get a treat from him.

There's already 2 staff from the call center resigned for the past 2 weeks. They must have felt very stressful and thefore call it quits.

Rayyan has got a new haircut. On the day, when we sent him for a haircut, he cried and can't sit still. The barber felt like giving up. Me and hubby had to hold his head for the barber to quickly finish what he's doing.

I'm still not satisfied. Rayyan still need a proper haircut. Its still long and thick. I don't blame the barber, definitely.

Hubby has been busy painting the house. Not the whole house. Part of it, the entrance wall and the walls at the living room. Its in maroon. Very dark.

Marsya has been bugging me to let her wear her new 'baju kurung'. I just called her and told her that I will be bringing her to Jurong Point to buy her a pair of new shoes. She told me that she wanted Spiderman shoes. I said 'No' and her reply was "Girl shoe eh, Ma. Pink colour?" So cute...

what a shock!
06 October 2007

Hubby really make me worried. This morning, I told him to fetch my parents at 12.15pm and afer that fetch me from work.

At 9 plus, he brought Marsya to Singpost to buy the weekend car coupon. I called home a few times and my maid told me that hubby is still not back yet and not even a call from him.

I called his handphone, but engage tone. Tried many times again, but unsuccessful. Its already 12.20pm. I can't concentrate on my work. I'm worried about Marsya. Not at home, no call since they went out at 9 plus - who's not worried?

My mom called me. I was about to cry when suddenly I heard incoming call. I picked it up. Hubby! He just came back. Told me that he went to the bank after going to the Singpost, to pay for the car loan. There were many people. Ya...but where's your handphone, hubby?

Alhamdullilah.....nothing happened......

Shopping for new clothes

Today, after work, I will be going to Geylang Serai to shop for Hari Raya clothings. Hubby not working today. He's at home now with the 2 kids watching the Indonesian drama, Mimpi Manis.

He don't like to watch it actually, but because of Marsya, he has to watch. Marsya loves the song....STOP! Kau Mencuri Hatiku, hatiku....Even Rayyan now loves it. When he heard the song, he will start to dance. I think, that drama has become so popular in Singapore.

On last Wednesday, at Geylang, while waiting to cross the road, there's this 2 kids, a boy and a girl, sang that song. The song has been repeatedly being played at the CDs shop.

I'm bringing my parents along today. Dad haven't buy his baju kurung yet. In fact, he just came back from the night shift and has yet to sleep. Today, he can sleep for only few hours and at night he will have to go work for night shift again.

Shopping..$$$$...shopping..shopping.....$$$$$$$$......

By the way, its already 9.02am, I haven't even do anything...not even the report which I need to submit today....GOT TO GO.....BYE

Yummy Food
03 October 2007

Yesterday, I got to eat yummy food at my mom's house.

What a spread!

There's macaroni goreng, kacang pool, keledek goreng (i think so, that is keledek)and there's bubur som som.

The bubur som som is given by my mom's neighbour, Cik Yah.

The bread that had to be eaten with the kacang pool is so crunchy.

My mom heated it up first in the oven 10 minutes before we break fast.

We packed some macaroni goreng to eat for sahur.

Thank you mom.....Instead of giving her a present for her birthday, she treat me to a lot of yummy food.

And I also salute her for being a strong woman. Her feet is still swollen but she still cooked a lot of foods for us to break fast together.

Even though she has taken the ghout medicine, her feet is still the same. And it will be painful if she were to stand for too long.

I thought of bringing her to Geylang Serai this Saturday.

Have already asked her yesterday. She has not confirm yet.

But mom told me to buy her a bag to bring during Hari Raya.

Will buy it for her as her birthday present.

alone at last
02 October 2007

I'm working without my supervisor today. My supervisor, Joanne, is on long leave and will be back only on monday. I'm surprised that she took this long leave and leave me alone to do the necessary work even though I've only just started work barely a month ago. This means that I'm very reliable, independent and matured enough to handle the work alone. Self praising!! I believe, with this praising, it will bring up my morale to go to work everyday.

But I'm not alone today. There's those colleagues of mine who are manning the call center. They will be very noisy with their different tones when they talked to customers. Its just like in the market. Its like that when you work in a call center.
I've worked in a call center before in my former workplace. I do it on rotational basis. Just couldn't take it. And imagine if I were to do it everyday, I think I will go bonkers one day.

Today, the best thing is that I'm going to break fast at my mom's house. Yesterday, my sis brought my mom and my younger bro, Taufiq, to break fast in Johor. How dare! They never told me about that. Only when I called my mom to tell her that I will be going to her house to collect back hubby's I/C, and when I heard a different ringing tone, I knew that they are not in Singapore. They must have gone to eat seafood.....

My son now called me 'mak' or sometimes 'mamak'. And hubby, 'bah' and sometimes 'babak'. So cute.

I still haven't receive letters from the kindergarten in which I've enrolled my daughter for her nursery next year. Another 2 more months to go and she will start to go to school. She'a a big girl already. She has grown taller. At home,my maid became her teacher and thought her how to write numbers and alphabets. I've bought her the numbering and alphabets books for her to practice writing everyday. My maid could not converse well in english.

There was once, I heard my daughter said she want to play badminton. The 'ton' we pronounce is in 'turn' but her's is 'torn'. Its pure Indon slang. I corrected her pronounciation. My maid was there and Marsya told her that she's wrong. And her reply was, "Bibik speak Indonlah."

Oh ya..today is my mom's birthday. Sorry mom no present at the moment. There's hole in my pocket.

Brownie
01 October 2007

Aunt Rita makes brownie today. She sent me the pictures of the brownie through MMS. So bad...

She thought by doing that I would be drooling and kept thinking about it.

No way Aunt Rita...Even though its look appetizing but I'm really really busy with my work.

Half an hour more to go. After that, bye bye..going back home to break fast.

My kids are all waiting for me already. To break fast together. Or I should say to mess up the dining table together.

My mom and my younger sis has bought their Hari Raya clothes to wear on the first day.

My elder sis has went to Geylang with her hubby. How I envy them.

I have yet to even bake 1 type of cookies. Just don't have time to do anything.

Worst come to worst I will just buy it at the Geylang Serai. By the way, I've ordered cookies from Aunt Mida, but only 1.

And also rempeyek and potato chips from my brother in law's friend. Is that enough?
