My 4 years old Marsya
31 May 2008

31st May. That is the day when I gave birth to Marsya. It is on Monday at 2.51pm.

Her skin are so white, smooth and she look like boy! Everybody said she look like boy. I remember clearly, when I went to the polyclinic for her immunisation, there's an elderly lady seating beside me. She look at Marsya and said, "Muka macam jantan." She was saying that Marsya looks like boy after I told her that she's a girl.

2 of my colleagues bought her a present. Handed it to her yesterday and she felt so happy. That's her 1 and only present for her birthday this year. There is no big birthday party for her. Budget constraint! We would held a birthday party for her every year since she was 1 year old.

Hubby will buy a birthday cake and celebrate at mom's house this afternoon. She already asked for Dora birthday cake. Told her its expensive and she change it to Barbie, Barney and all sorts of cartoon characters cake.

The kids having fun admiring Om Fauzi's motorbike.

Cisco Family Day
26 May 2008

Yesterday was a fun day. We went to Sentosa for the Cisco Family Day. Before we reached the place, we were worried that the parking would be full by the time we arrived. But we were lucky enough. When we arrived at the dolphin lagoon (the place where we always park), there's a lot of parking lots available. We took out all the necessary things from the car - big bags, big containers full of foods and a lots more.

We proceed to our destination, Tanjong Beach. When we came out from the carpark, we saw another sign indicated that there's another carpark available at the Tanjong Beach. So, we decided to turn back, put all the things in the car again and drove there. We were like a first time visitor to Sentosa! We do not know that there's a carpark at the Tanjong Beach!

Sentosa has improved a lot, it seems. The day was hot and humid when we arrived but we still enjoyed ourselves. Few hours had gone, the sky beginning to turn dark. We shift all our things to the nearby shelter. And again, we were lucky enough, all of us (5 families altogether) manage to squeeze ourselves under the shelter. However, the rain doesn't last long. Maybe about 1 hour plus or so. After that the kids change their clothes played with each other.

For me, I'm at the tent watching the Cisco Idol. With me, are my siblings, moms and the rest of my aunties. We were there to give support for Hubby who is in the competition. And the results ..... Hubby lost!!!!! Uuurggghhhh!!! Not even in the
3rd place!

And there's no need to talk about the lucky draw. In all, we have 17 tickets. Not even one wins a prize. My auntie, Cik Nah is the lucky ones. She won the 24th prize. At 8pm, there's a fireworks and its the end of the family day.

The fireworks at Sentosa. Able to snap only 1 shot.

We went back with a lots of extra things - the goodie bags(we have more than 10 of it), extra foods and wet clothings that make our bags heavier!

Meet the Teacher
24 May 2008

Its the begining of the school holidays for the kids. Marsya is looking forward to go to Port Dickson.

Yesterday, I took half day from work to attend the 'Meet-The-Parent Session'. I'm pleased that the teacher keep on praising Marsya and the only thing that the teacher observed is that she did not want to share toys with others. Well, that's her!

I'm beginning to dislike going to work! Due to some reasons, not because I'm lazy. Few more days to go and on the 28th I will be outsource to another company but still working in the same place.

I loves my current job scope and I will be doing another thing after I've been outsource! Hey! Its not fair ok! I'm not looking forward to this even though they have increased my salary! Please help!!!!!! Worst come to worst, I will look for another job again!

Miscommunications
21 May 2008

I had a miscommunication with hubby yesterday and because of that I had to wait for him at the IMM pick point for nearly an hour.

It was already 7.20pm. I was sitting at the seat provided and was listening to the radio on my handphone. I felt something amiss and decided to SMS hubby. He replied that he was having his rehearsal and didn't promised to fetch me. He knew that I was going to IMM. And normally, he will fetch me after I had done the marketing.

To cut it short, he asked me to wait for him and he will come and fetch me. Haaa.... Haaaa.. Nope, I will not board the bus during the peak hours with me carrying a lot of things!

And today, bus no. 185 really makes me mad! I've to wait for it for nearly 45 minutes. Most of the people at the bus stop who was waiting for 185, decided to take the taxi instead. And me too!

NEXT TIME ITS MY TURN!
17 May 2008

I don't understand guys. They can't wait for their partner, not even a minute! Well, I didn't asked him to fetch me, I can go back by myself, ok!
It is just 15 minutes! Why make it a big problem?

And its not under the sun or the rain. Why must he make so much noise? Well, sorry, there's no noise, its quiet throughout the journey. And I know, it means that he's angry! I find it very ridiculous! Very childish!

I remember that I had waited for him before, more than 15 or worst than that 30 minutes! And the "best" thing is that, I had to stand for the whole of the 30 minutes! Definitely I'm angry, But when he arrives, I acted "cool", whereas in my heart, I have been swearing at him ... ha ...haa...Not once ok, it has occurs many times!

So the next time, if I have to attend training again, I will go back by myself even if he is willing to fetch me.

Nak amik tapi tak ikhlas...jalan dah!!!

16 May 2008

Hubby has been choosen to go to the Finals for the Cisco Idol. It will be held in Sentosa for the Cisco family day on 25th May 08. He was so delighted!

Yesterday was the 2nd audition. He didn't expect that he will proceed to the Final as he was having sore throat. In fact all of us in the family are having sore throat, including the 2 kids. So yesterday's performance was a bit dissapointing.

So cheers for him on Sunday!

By the way, I took this photo at home. Did you see anybody? Under the table ... It was Rayyan! He was sulking over something. I leave him like that for few minutes. He finally give up and approached me with a smile. So cute ....

It has been quite a while since I uploaded my kids photo. They are so happy wearing the new shirts. Bought 3 for $10.

Bro Taufiq has started going to school after about 2 weeks staying at home. His leg is still swollen due to an accident. Actually, he is still under MC but after his teacher told him that he has miss a lot of lessons, he decided to go back to school. But I think he's happy about it. Its damn bored staying at home for 2 long weeks.

Few days after the accident happened, me and Hubby went to the spot where it happen. It was a busy road especially during Saturday night. The accident was in Orchard Road. Taufiq was lucky to get away with just a swollen leg. I had to send him to NUH the next day after the accident. My sis and bro-in-law had to tow away his bike that was left behind in Orchard to prevent more summons being issued. Luckily, my bro-in-law have a van and can fit the bike in.

In the meantime, the bike is at the carpark - awaiting for my father green light to send it for repair. Kahhh...Kahhh....Kahhh.

My Birthday!!
07 May 2008

My birthday celebrations, were held in a very simple way. Just a cake, which was bought by hubby. On that day, I received a lot of smses from friends, family members who remembered my birthday. And not forgetting, Sis June and her family wished me a Happy Birthday through RIA 89.7FM. And also a gift from Joanne, Cindy and Jiang Bin! Thanks so much!!!

And at night we went out for dinner at Bt Timah. The dinner was not meant for me, it was actually Hubby's colleague who has been transferred to another branch.

Hubby was the only one who brought the family along! I felt shy at first since I did not know most of them. But we get along very well, making small talks, smile at each other..etc.

Before, we went for dinner, the kids sang a birthday song for me, they loved it!

And coming up next, will be Marsya's birthday.
