If only i did not make the wrong call, I would have totally forgot that today is my sis, birthday. It's Iffah's birthday today!
I wanted to call home to check on my kids but I just don't know why on earth I go and dial mom's house number.
She picked up and I was like "Eh? How come Iffah is at my house?' Only then that I realized I've dialled wrongly.
She told me that its her birthday today. And since I'm on the line with her, I wished her Happy Birthday.
Sorry dear, don't be sad. Its not that I forgot your birthday, its just that I've overlooked it.
And not only hers, almost all, whom I knew, definitely will be overlooked except for my 2 lovable kids.
Few more minutes to go and after that Pizza time!!!
We are going to have pizza in the office. Every month we will be given a certain amount from the company to spend. So today, they intend to spend it on food!
I came back late yesterday, almost 10.30pm. I attended my departments dinner cum gathering events at Chevron.
We went to the bowling alley. Oh my! I can't bowl! I remembered the last time I bowled is at KL and that was years back even before I'm married. I was reluctant to go. But my supervisor forced me and told me just to have fun over there.
We had our dinner first. Its a buffet and eeemmmmm...yummmy....There's crispy lemon chicken, cuttlefish balls, Fried Kway Teow, Fried Popiah and lastly my favourite, omellette. What a sumptious dinner!!
There's 5 teams and easch team there's 3-4 bowlers. And definitely, I scored the least and it makes my team lose. So embarrassed and I swear that I will never follow them again to the bowling alley. Never, never at all!
Everybody has gone to sleep when I reached home except for my maid. I kissed Marsya and Rayyan goodnight and feel bad for neglecting both my kids yesterday. I have never came back late from work before. The most is around 8pm. And that, I still have time to spend a few hours with them.
Yesterday will be the first and the last time I brought both my kids to watch hubby played futsal at the Fico Sports Hub.
Before we reached the Sports Hub, both of them are so eager and looks very happy. Brought along 2 balls for each of them. The place is just a walking distance from my block. But we go there by car! Used to it already and by the way, its drizzling.
There were a lot of people as there's a friendly match going on.

But hubby is not in the match. He and his friend went there just to have funs.
We went to an empty field. Both the kids are very curious. They look around the place and each of them keep holding on the the balls only.

The moment hubby went into the field, Rayyan start to cry first. They way he cry is as if hubby went in and can never came out. Marsya start to follow Rayyan. I coaxed them and told them that their Baba will come out soon. The field is covered with nets almost full high. There's no way for the kids to enter.
Hubby became mad. He can't concentrate with the game. At last, he make the decision to sent the kids back.
Good! That's a good decision! I happily went back home, switch on the TV and let the kids watched their favourites cartoon, Tom & Jerry. 5 mins before 9pm, told my maid to lay the mattress in front of the tv and let them lay down and drink their milk.
Tom and Jerry start at 9pm. Around 9.20pm, Rayyan fell asleep. Marsya continue to watched TV till 10.30pm, only after the cartoon, Courage the Cowardly Dog ends.
On Monday night, before I go to sleep, hubby told me what my Atok has told him earlier when we were at the hospital visiting my nenek.
At the hospital, hubby approached Atok who were sitting alone at the ward's lobby and chat with him.
Atok start to talk about some religious issue to him. He said about prayers, donations and all other things. The best thing what Atok said is that we should give donations to those who really need it. Such like those orphans in the Homes. And we should do it at least once per year.
He taught hubby how to save and make donations after that.
It goes like this - 1 week you save $2. And 1 month it will be $8. Atok said that we does not even need to come out a red note per week.
We need to continue doing this for 1 year. After that we proceed to make the donations.
Quite interesting. But I still don't know when I can start doing it.
My maternal grandmother was admitted in the hospital again. Arrangment has been make that mom has to take care of my grandparents as grandma always complaint of giddines.
One day after she slept over at mom's house, she was sent to the hospital.
I has yet to visit her. Saturday is the day where my parent in laws moved to their rental flat. I stayed there from afternoon till 11pm. A kenduri was held. It is a small house and there's a lot of people. I found the place very convenient.
Opposite the block, there's a Redhill MRT Station. And behind the block, there's a hawker center and wet market. Shops at level 1 and also at other blocks in the precint.
On Sunday, we went there again. Help them to clean up a bit.
Today, I will visit grandma. Will leave the kids at sis's house. I don't want them to make a lot of noise in the hospital. Just afraid that the nurses will chase us out!
My sister in law suffered a miscarriage recently. During the first day of Hari Raya, she happily informed me that she's pregnant. It's going to be her third child.
In fact, this is her 2nd miscarriages. The first one, if I can remember clearly, happens in early 2007. She did not went for a check up for that. She leave it just as it is.
And it happened again....She told me that at first she felt pain in the stomach and went to the GP only after the pain is getting worst. The doctor actually advise her to go to the hospital for a thorough check up.
She consult her husband, hubby's younger brother. He told her not to worry as nothing bad could happen. Haa??? Few days later she found out that there's blood coming out. But it just a small dot and it happens everyday.
Worried, she informed me and I advised her to go to the hospital. She's worried about the expenses.
When there's more blood coming out, her mom called the makcik urut to check her tummy. The makcik urut said she can felt the foetus and the breathing is very weak, and the sad thing is that, she said, even if the baby survive, it will be handicap.
What the makcik said is true. She went to KK hospital the next day as the blood coming out is getting more. The doctor told her the same thing. They admitted her and monitor the situation. When they did the scan for her, my sil saw the foetus's heart pumping.
The following day, they sent her for another scan. This time round, bad news for her. The baby's heartbeat has stop. She couldn't take it and cried on the spot.
Yesterday, is hubby's birthday. He turned 29 this year. Took leave yesterday but did not informed him about it. It was meant to be a surprised.
Brought Marsya along to Jurong Point in the afternoon. Wanted to buy a birthday cake for hubby. First, we went to Prima Deli. I already had the cake which I wanted but thought of just looking around again for other cakes at Polar Puffs.
There, Marsya saw a cake with a Power Rangers picture on it. I remembered that my sis said the cake at Polar Puffs taste too buttery, so I told Marsya that I wanted to buy another cake.
But she insist on buying it. Considering that the price of the cake is quite cheap at only $16+, I proceed to buy it. Marsya is so elated as if it is her birthday. I reminded her time and again not to let the cat out the bag when hubby came home. Explained to her that I'm going to surprise him. She nodded as if she understand the meaning of surprise. She kept telling me ok, ok.
5 mins before hubby reached home, I quickly put the cake in the kitchen cabinet. I told Marsya to watch TV as per normal. She was too happy. When hubby opened the door, Marsya immediately said, " I go Jurong Point buy cake." She just can't keep a secret.
I quickly got an idea and told hubby that after he shower, to bring us all to Jurong Point as I wanted to buy cake for him. Immediately after he went to the toilet to, I took out the cake from the cabinet. When he came out from the room, Marsya shouted, 'Surprised'!
When hubby saw the Power Ranger cake, he laughed but he knew that must be Marsya's request. We lighted up the candle and afer singing the birtday song, Marsya was the one to blow off the candle.

Marsya and Rayyan enjoying their kiddy ride.
Today's lunch...2 Hara Pau and a plain water. I think it should be enough till 6.30 pm when I reached home.
Both my nephew were down with HFMD. My sis said it takes at least a week for them to be thoroughly cured. Now I told my maid not to bring my kids to the playground again.
This Saturday, my parents in law will be moving into their rental flat at Redhill.
Today is a working day for me...on a Saturday morning where most of the people can enjoy their breakfast together with their family .
Yesterday, I had my dinner at almost 9pm. I reached home around 8.30pm. Attended training after work. As i only ate jollybean pancake and springroll for lunch, I began to feel very, very hungry in the late afternoon. Had to bear with it until the training ended.
Almost every week, we have to attend 2-3 days of training.
So surprisingly, Marsya did not want to follow hubby when he went to fetch me. She said she wants to play with bibik, my maid.
No plans for today.
Tomorrow, since hubby is working overtime, thought of sleeping at my mom's house today. Or if not, tomorrow morning will bring the kids there.
Ha...Ha...Time for my breakfast. The McDonald's delivery man is here!!!!
Rayyan looks like my collegue's son. I found it out yesterday when my collegue conducted a training for us. She's a Filipino. Her son is so cutey. Looks just like Rayyan.
Today, I feel so lazy to go out for lunch. Got my colleague to help me buy lunch. Not eating much today. Told her to buy pancake at the JOLLYBEAN. And also springroll at the OLD CHANG KEE.
Waiting for her now and still no sign of her. Uuuurrrggghhh.....so hungry...
This Sunday, hubby is going to do OT at the Kranji Turf Club. His first time ever doing OT in this year. Maybe now then he realizes that we need that extra money to save aside for the car insurance next year.
Think its good this way as we can spend less and earn more. Wahhh!!Who knows maybe after that we will get a bigger car or maybe a HDB massionette?
Beranganlah tak abis.

Marsya has been pestering me to buy the school uniform for her. She saw Adam and Ayon wearing it yesterday at Mom's house. I told her that her teacher has not called me yet, so I can't buy it.
And Rayyan, he knows how to sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. "Star..Star..." The only word that came out from his mouth when I sang it.

I'm at work now but have got nothing to do. The system is down since this morning until now. It has not been rectified yet. According to the IT staff, the server is having problem worldwide.
I've done my report, went to the toilet and what else!!!! So bored!!!. If only I can go back home now, lie on my comfortable, smelly bed...SMELLY!, Yes its smelly. Marsya's the cause of it.
At night, even when she's wearing diapers, it will still leak. This morning, she went up to the bed while I was in the toilet, bathing, suddenly she cried. She told me that the bed is wet.
My bed has a lot of patches now. Its getting smellier. Even when we wipe it with detergent or anything that we have, the smell still won't go away. Tried to spray it with Febreez. It will smell nice only for a while, then it will be back to normal.
Thought of buying a Plasma or LCD TV. Ha3..IN MY DREAMS......
Its lunch time now...Just want to eat HARA Pau today. Time to trim down. For the past few days, I've been feeling hungry even though I've taken my meals. Always asked my maid to fry nuggets, french fries after taken my dinner. My 2 kids joined me.
Ha3, I've already know what surprised my sis is referring to. I'm so curious to know that I personally called Sis for the info. Aunt Rita, you just wait for tomorrow, k. Its about pregnancy....Aunt Rita you got it right. But still have to wait for tomorrow for the good news.
My grandma has been discharged from the hospital yesterday. She must be very delighted to leave the hospital. Upon her discharge, my uncle Talib had to be admitted due to his high blood presurre. And he was admitted in the same hospital and also in the same ward in which my grandma was in. Such a coincidence.
Hubby has now become a part time car salesman. Actually, its just for the fun of it since he has some knowledge about cars. He just need to recommend his friends who is interested in buying cars to our neighbour. Once, his friend has decided to purchase it, Hubby will get part of the commission. Not so much though, but its worth it. There was once hubby got $100 from my neighbour as a commission.
We were caught by surprised. Hubby intention is just to help his friend as well as our neighbour. So after that incident, Hubby is now looking for more interested buyer to recommend to our neighbour.
Yesterday, I went to SGH to visit my grandma. I brought my mom along. Grandma is getting better and healthier. Now, she's able to sit down and laugh when my mom and aunts make some jokes.
I felt glad to see my grandma in a cheerful state. Hopefully, she can be discharged soon. She told me that she want to go back as soon as possible. She hate to stay in the hospital, its uncomfortable for her.
After that, we went to West Coast food center to have our dinner. Aunt Rita went back early, if not, surely she will followed us. I only ordered Chay kuay Bakar for myself, mom ordered fried kway teow and hubby, fried rice. I tasted all the food but I don't know why all the food is so spicy. I just could not take it. My mouth is burning. But not for my mom and hubby.
It is so strange. Maybe my tastebuds has change because normally I could take spicy food. Therefore, I didn't enjoy the dinner yesterday. My grandfather ordered satay for us. 20 sticks. We request to pack it as its getting late. All of us are already so tired and sleepy.
Mom bring back 10 sticks and me another 10. So at home, before me and hubby go to sleep, we enjoyed the satay first.
My Necklace...Its gone...Its a white gold necklace.
I don't know where and how it drop from my neck. On Sunday, I wore it. I went Hari Raya with my ex-ite classmates. I didn't know that it was not around my neck anymore.
Until when i looked into the mirror at one of my friend's house then i realized that it has drop somewhere. I feel so sad. This is already my 2nd necklace. And its only about a year old. The first one snap off when Marsya pull it from my neck.
And now I have to buy a new one....Oh...when can I buy it? I just started a new job and no year end bonus, definitely.
Hubby? Hopefully he pitied me and will buy it for me. Its ok if the necklace is a cheap ones. As long as its white gold and I can wear it during Hari Raya Haji.
Marsya and Rayyan had just recover from their illnesses. From fever to sore throat and also white spots appeared on their lips. I went to hubby company's doctor, cheaper, $5 per person. Doctor said that it is an ulcer in which I don't agree. But i just kept quiet. I'm the kind of person that don't know how to argue.
At home, I still applied the cream which the doctor gives. But few days went by and the white spots is still there on my kids lips.
Very worried, I sent them to my doctor just few blocks away. He said that its a fungal infection and he prescribe Daktarin cream for them. It works wonders! On the first day, the white spots beginning to dissappear. On the 2nd day, no more white spots!
And also Rayyan appetite has increased. After he took the medicine (a powder form) that my doctor gives, his throat is getting better. Whenever i eat, he will asked me to feed him as well even though he has taken his dinner.
My maid told me that Rayyan loves to eat spicy food. She tried to gives him soup but he did not want. Instead, when my maid eat, daging kicap with a bit chilli in it, he ate a lot. I notice that too. Whenever my maid cooked spicy mee goreng, Rayyan would come to me to asked for some.
Now I advise my maid if she want to cook spicy dish, put only little bit of chilli so that Rayyan can eat too.
