My sister in law suffered a miscarriage recently. During the first day of Hari Raya, she happily informed me that she's pregnant. It's going to be her third child.

In fact, this is her 2nd miscarriages. The first one, if I can remember clearly, happens in early 2007. She did not went for a check up for that. She leave it just as it is.

And it happened again....She told me that at first she felt pain in the stomach and went to the GP only after the pain is getting worst. The doctor actually advise her to go to the hospital for a thorough check up.

She consult her husband, hubby's younger brother. He told her not to worry as nothing bad could happen. Haa??? Few days later she found out that there's blood coming out. But it just a small dot and it happens everyday.

Worried, she informed me and I advised her to go to the hospital. She's worried about the expenses.

When there's more blood coming out, her mom called the makcik urut to check her tummy. The makcik urut said she can felt the foetus and the breathing is very weak, and the sad thing is that, she said, even if the baby survive, it will be handicap.

What the makcik said is true. She went to KK hospital the next day as the blood coming out is getting more. The doctor told her the same thing. They admitted her and monitor the situation. When they did the scan for her, my sil saw the foetus's heart pumping.

The following day, they sent her for another scan. This time round, bad news for her. The baby's heartbeat has stop. She couldn't take it and cried on the spot.
