My parents disagreed with our decisions to sell off our flat.
They strongly disagreed, giving us lots of negative reasons to it. I believe they have a good intention by doing all this. They just don't want us to burnt our fingers and regret later on.
Especially my dad. I don't know why? But in fact, me too, are against the idea. I loves the place. Even though, the place is still not fully equipped with the facilities like the wet market, LRT, I still loves the neighbourhood.
After my parents coaxed us not to sell, I can put my mind at ease. If not, I will always keep thing on whether to sell or not. My heart says 'NO' but hubby insist as he want me to take care of the kids instead. I'm really stuck in between.
Hubby has to follow my parent's decision as he doesn't dare to go against their idea as a form of respect to the in-laws. Hubby believes is showing respect and listen to the elders as it will save him from getting into any trouble along the way. Futhermore, my parents have been helping us since the day we bought the house.
The television set at my house - was bought by my parents. The same goes to the dining table. If not because of them, I think till today, me and my family will be having our dinner on the floor instead.
I'm proud and happy to have them as my parents.
