This morning I took a cab to work and its free!

Actually, I was at the bus-stop. 2 of my colleagues who is staying in my neighbourhood came by. They are also waiting for the bus. We've been waiting for more than 15 minutes but there's no sight of it.

I was standing near them and I noticed that they are discussing something. One of them flag a taxi and invited me along. The taxi already stop in front of us. In fact, I did not want to take the taxi but instead I still want to continue waiting for the bus. But I'm sure if I were to wait for the bus, I will be late to work.

There's few reasons why I did not want to follow them:

1) In my wallet, there's only $4. And the journey from my home to the workplace is nearly $10. Of course, they will pay since they are the one who wanted to take the taxi. But at least, I need to chip out some amount right, to be fair.

2) Since the day, I joined the company, I've not talked to them at all. I only smile at them when I saw them. They are from different section and I my work doesn't need me to be in contact with them. I don't even know their names! So I felt a little bit shy taking a free ride from them.

Since they already insist, and I don't want to be late, I followed them. When we are nearer to our workplace, I unzipped my bag to take out my umbrella as it is raining. When my colleague saw what I'm doing, she hold my hand and told me no need to pay. Maybe, she thought I wanted to pay for the taxi fare! Well, I wanted too, but I intend to pay part of it when we reach the office.

When we have reached the office, I asked her about the amount in which I need to pay (action tanyalah, dalam hati dah tau mesti free punya). But they said no need. Ahhhh malunya (konon)....I said thanks to them and went straight to my workstation. Maybe I should treat them for lunch one of these days.
